This is a study of radermachera jasmine blooms. It measures 26 in x 25 in. The cluster of blooms are hued in tones of white, golden yellow, fuchsia, lavendar and cyan and the background is full of emerald greens and a dramatic black vignette. When I moved from the cold, long winters of Washington, DC to the never-ending summer of South Florida, I found my love for growing flowers just kept expanding. Growing and nurturing flowers gives me a sense of calm and fulfillment in a world that is sometimes chaotic. In my digital artwork, I try to find a way to convey that sense to the observer in a timeless image.
